The Ramblers Association now have a greatly improved website which is an exceptional rescource for all walkers, hykers and young families wanting to go for walks with young children. This site lists everything from historical walks to guided walks and really audious walks.

Find A Walk Near Me by Walking Britain is a truly excellent and free resource. Just enter where you are or where you would like to walk - and print out directions. The walks are graded and you can buy a specific map of the area at the same time. These are proper OS maps and weather proofed if required.

I always think of walking as one of the few activities you can do for free - and now you can with this guide!

Walking, Hiking and Outdoor Shops

Valentines Of Crieff Ltd

2-10 W High St, Crieff PH7 4DL, UK – 01764 652380

Helpful staff, good selection of men’s clothes and walked out happy with a couple of great purchases.

A long established clothes shop which sells a good range of modern elagant styles for both formal and party. The gents dept is a classic outfitter but with an eye for the current trends. The ladies also have a huge choice whether it's for a wedding, party or just to relax around town.

At Home

1-3 Milnab Street, Comrie Road, Crieff PH7 4BH, UK – 01764 656515

Great gift shop, they stock a wide range of small items as well as a number of larger things. A lot of the items appear to be sourced from local artists and makers, with some current trend jewellery, scented candles, cards and small items of furniture. Being on the edge of Crieff's shopping area it may get overlooked a mistake for any discerning shopper, you should seek it out for that quality gift or card that is different from the mainstream. The staff are always willing to chat and listen to what you maybe looking for and will make suggestions you may not have thought of.

All the best of new youth politicians
